The Clinic

We are located on the second floor at 15 B Lake Road, which is also known as Kavi Bharati Sarani. The Clinic is a pretty simple name, and that is basically how we run things here. We are in an older building in Kolkata, so you have to head up the stairs to reach us. The space isn't huge, but it has enough room for a waiting area and the consultation rooms where we see our patients. Being near the lake is nice because the air feels a bit fresher, though the humidity still gets to us in the summer months. We don't have any flashy signs or high-tech automated check-in systems. You just walk in, talk to us, and wait for your turn. The furniture is a bit mismatched, and the paint on the walls could probably use a touch-up, but it doesn't affect how we do our work. Most of the people who come here are from the neighborhood and they appreciate having a place close by that doesn't feel like a giant, impersonal hospital. We spend our days dealing with various health issues, writing out prescriptions, and chatting with the regulars who have been coming to us for years. It’s a quiet, steady sort of place where we just focus on the people who walk through the door. It is not about being the biggest clinic, but just being here.
