We set up our little office at 9/3/1 Bijoygarh, right here in Kolkata. Being in the city is a bit different for an agrotech company, but we make it work. Our team at Tethys & Themis Agrotech focuses on the technical side of farming. It’s not all about being out in the field; sometimes the planning and the science happen in a small room in West Bengal. The address in Bijoygarh is where we do most of our thinking and organizing. We aren't a giant corporation with hundreds of employees. It’s just a few of us who really care about how food is grown and how technology can help. Sometimes the power goes out or the internet is slow, but we just keep at it. We chose this name because it sounded right for what we wanted to do, even if it's a bit hard for some people to say at first. We don't spend money on fancy brochures. Most of our time goes into the actual projects we have running. If you come by, you might see us surrounded by papers and laptops. It’s a bit messy, but that’s how we work best. We’re just trying to bridge the gap between the city and the farm. Kolkata is a busy place, and Bijoygarh has its own rhythm. We fit in there quite well, just doing our thing and hoping to make a difference in the agricultural scene without making a lot of noise about it.
