Our office is on the ground floor at 1/17 Nitai Nagar. It’s in the Mukundapur area of Kolkata. We focus on agro sciences, which basically means we look at the technical side of farming. It’s a bit different from just growing crops. We spend time looking at how to make things grow better and dealing with the science of it all. The office is a simple place. We’ve got some lab equipment and a lot of folders. Being in the 700099 zip code means we are tucked away in a residential part of the city, which makes it a bit quieter than the main roads. It’s a small group of us here. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees. We just do our work and try to help the farmers who reach out to us. Sometimes we have to travel out to the fields to see things for ourselves. We don't really do the whole flashy business thing. We just focus on the data and the results. If something isn't working, we try to figure out why. It’s a lot of trial and error. We like the work because it feels useful. It’s just us in our ground-floor space, doing what we know how to do. We don't have big slogans or fancy uniforms, just some people who know their science.
