We've been here at 110/C/1G on Beliaghata Main Road for a while now. It’s a busy spot and we’re usually quite tied up with the kitchen work from early morning. Super Chef isn't a fancy place with velvet chairs or anything like that. It’s mostly just us making sure the burners are on and the ingredients are fresh when the morning deliveries arrive. Sometimes the traffic outside gets really loud, but you get used to it after a few years. We spend a lot of time chopping vegetables and making sure the orders go out without too much of a wait. The staff has changed a bit over the years, but some of us have been around Beliaghata since we were kids. It’s a lot of standing on your feet and dealing with the heat from the stoves. We don't have a big marketing team or a shiny website. Mostly, people just walk in because they live nearby or work in the shops down the street. It gets crowded during the lunch hour and we sometimes run out of things if it's a particularly busy Tuesday. We try to keep things simple. If a lightbulb goes out, we fix it when we have a minute. It’s just a normal workplace where we try to get the food right and keep the floors swept. That’s pretty much the whole story of what we do here every day in this little corner of the city.
