August Fifteen

Down in Sonarpur, things move at their own pace, and that’s where you’ll find August Fifteen. We’ve been based here for a while, working out of a small space that suits us just fine. It isn’t a high-rise office or a fancy shopfront, just a local spot where we get our daily work done. The name comes from a date that meant something to us when we started, and it’s stuck ever since. Most days involve a lot of coming and going, talking to people from the neighborhood, and handling the small tasks that keep a business running. Sonarpur is a good place for us because it feels like a real community. You get to know the shopkeepers next door and the people walking by every morning. We don't spend much on big signs or anything flashy. We just open up, do what needs to be done, and go home. Sometimes it’s quiet, and other times we’re scrambling to finish something before the day ends. We’ve had people ask why we chose this location, but it just made sense at the time. It’s practical, the rent isn’t crazy, and we’re close enough to everything we need. We don't have a big mission statement or anything like that. We just show up every day at our Sonarpur address and try to be useful to the people who walk through our door. It is a simple life and we like it.
