We are based in the B/10 Government Housing Estate in Kolkata. It’s an older building, the kind you see all over this part of town with the thick walls and high ceilings. Being in a housing estate means there’s always something going on nearby, like kids playing or people coming back from the local market. Our space is functional and simple, not fancy at all. We do marketing services here, which means there’s usually a lot of paper samples and old campaign materials lying around on the shelves. The high ceilings help keep things a bit cooler during the summer months when it gets really stuffy outside. It’s not the easiest place to find if you aren’t used to the layout of the estate, but we’ve put a small sign up so people don't get lost. The furniture is mostly old wooden desks that have been here since we first started. We don’t really have a big fancy sign outside on the main road, just the address. Most of our work is done over the phone or through emails anyway, so we don't get a huge amount of foot traffic. It’s a quiet enough spot to focus on the projects without too many distractions. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, but we just wait it out like everyone else in the building. It’s a very local way of working, staying connected to the neighborhood while we get through the task list.
