The clinic is tucked away in Nepal Bhattacharya 1st Lane, which can be a bit of a squeeze if you’re driving. It’s part of the Rashbehari Unit-2 setup. We’ve spent a lot of time getting to know the rhythm of this neighborhood. In the mornings, you can hear the sounds of the street waking up while we’re setting up the instruments. It’s a local place through and through. We don’t go in for those big corporate displays or shiny posters everywhere. The walls are mostly plain, and the chairs are just standard dental chairs that do the job they’re supposed to do. Most days, we’re busy seeing neighbors who live just a few houses down. It’s common for someone to walk in without an appointment just because they were passing by on their way to the market. We do our best to fit everyone in, though sometimes there’s a bit of a wait. We usually have the radio on low or just talk about what’s happening in the news. It keeps the atmosphere relaxed, which helps because most people aren't exactly excited to be at the dentist. The lane is quite narrow, so if you are coming by car, you have to be a bit careful with the turns. We have a small sign out front at 4C, but it’s easy to miss if you’re not looking. It’s a modest setup, but it’s served us and the community well for years.
