Smg Hai Technocrafts Pvt. Ltd. is based at 195-A on Sarat Bose Road. It’s a well-known street, and we’ve been part of the neighborhood for a decent amount of time. The office is in a building that has a lot of character, though the stairs can be a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up. We focus on technical services and engineering solutions. It’s mostly about solving puzzles—finding out why a system isn't performing or how to integrate new parts into an old setup. The desks are usually covered in drawings and notes from previous meetings. We aren't the type to wear suits unless we absolutely have to for a formal meeting. Most days, it’s just casual clothes and a lot of coffee while we go over project specs. We like being in this part of the city because it’s close to everything, and there are good places to eat nearby when we need a break. We don’t spend our time writing big mission statements or marketing brochures. We’re more concerned with whether the work we did yesterday is holding up today. If a client calls with a problem, we just listen and try to figure out a fix that makes sense. It’s a practical approach to engineering.
