You can find us over in the middle of Bara Bazar, right in the thick of everything at Chetram Katra. It is always incredibly crowded on Jamunalal Bazaz Street, especially on Monday mornings when the new stock arrives. We have been at this particular spot for quite some time now, mostly dealing with lifestyle items and different types of fabric. The building itself has that classic old Kolkata feel to it, with narrow hallways and high ceilings. It is very noisy outside with the rickshaws and the street vendors shouting, but inside we just focus on the task in front of us. We share the general space with a lot of other traders and businesses. It can get a little cramped when the big deliveries come in, but we make it work. We do not have a big marketing team or anyone to do fancy social media. It is mostly just us answering the old telephone and checking the inventory on the shelves. Some of the wooden storage racks have been here since we first opened the doors. We know most of the people on this street by their first names. If you come by to visit, you will probably see us sorting through various textiles. The ceiling fans are always humming to keep the Bengal heat away. It is a busy life in the heart of the city, and we have grown to like the pace.
