If you’re looking for us, we’re down Nayan Krishna Saha Lane at No. 9/H/1. It’s one of those narrow lanes in Kolkata where you have to be careful if you’re driving a big car. Sathi Enterprise has been here for a good amount of time. We do a bit of everything when it comes to local supply and small-scale enterprise work. The building is old, like many in this part of the city, but it serves our purpose well enough. We have a small crew of workers who have been with us for years. They know the routine better than I do sometimes. We don't have a big marketing budget or a fancy website. Most people find us through word of mouth or by just walking past the lane. It can get a bit damp during the monsoon, and we have to move the stock to higher shelves to keep it dry. It's just the reality of working in this part of town. We spend our mornings checking orders and the afternoons getting them ready for delivery. It’s not a fast-paced life, but it’s steady. We appreciate the neighbors who don’t mind the noise when we’re loading things up into the small trucks. We just try to do a decent job and keep things moving. It’s a family-run thing, really, and we take it one day at a time without too much stress.
