We are based out of 29 Dinobasulane in Kanchrapara, which is in the North 24 Parganas district of West Bengal. It is a bit of a walk from the main station, but it is a good spot for us. The building is an older one and the lane can get a bit narrow when the bigger delivery vans try to come through. Inside, we have our setup for mechatronics work, focusing on scales and industrial weighing parts. The air gets quite humid here, so we have to be careful with the electronic components. There is always the sound of someone testing a machine or talking on the phone with a customer from another part of the state. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. It is mostly just rooms filled with technical equipment and crates waiting to be shipped out. Our team is small and we all know each other well, so the atmosphere is pretty casual even when we are busy. Sometimes the monsoon rains make the lane a bit muddy, but we still manage to get the work done. We deal with a lot of factories and businesses around this area. It’s practical work that requires a lot of attention to detail. We just show up every morning, drink our chai, and get to work on the various machines that need fixing or checking before they go back to the owners.
