We are located at 74, Sagar Manna Road. Sandhya Decorator & Caterer has been operating from this spot for a long time. It’s a residential sort of area, so we are right in the middle of where people live. Our place is basically a storage area for all the event gear and a kitchen for the food. We have stacks of chairs, rolls of colored fabric, and big metal cooking containers. It can look a bit messy when we are in the middle of preparing for a big job. At 74 Sagar Manna Road, you’ll usually see us loading or unloading a van. We do the decorating for local ceremonies and then provide the food too. It’s a two-part job. One day we are setting up a stage and the next we are making dal and curry. We don't use any high-tech equipment, just the stuff that has worked for years. People from the neighborhood stop by to book us for their kids' weddings or other parties. We just write it in the ledger and get to planning. It’s a family-run kind of thing. We don’t have a fancy lobby for customers. You just come to the door and talk to us. The road is narrow, so we have to be quick with the trucks. It’s just a normal local business trying to do a decent job for the people nearby. We keep it simple and focus on the day's tasks.
