You can find Samrat Decorator & Caterer over at B J Market in Sector 2, Salt Lake. We are at Stall No 47, which is pretty close to the 206 bus stand. It’s a busy little area with a lot of people coming and going from the market. Our space is tucked in there with the other stalls. We do both the decorating and the food side of things. It means we have a lot of bamboo poles, cloth, and big cooking pots stored away. Sometimes it’s hard to fit everything in Stall No 47, but we make it work. Being near the bus stand helps when we have to move stuff around for events. It’s not a polished showroom. It looks like a place where work gets done. There’s usually some fabric being folded or someone checking the stoves. We handle stuff for weddings and local functions around Salt Lake. It’s a lot of physical labor, lugging chairs and setting up tents. We’ve been part of the B J Market scene for a while now. Neighbors know us. We don't use fancy websites to get work. Usually, someone walks by the stall and asks if we’re free for a date. We talk it through right there. It’s a simple way of doing things. The market is always loud, but we like being in the middle of it. We just try to get the decorations up on time and the food served hot.
