Sai Chinese

If you go down to 61 A Elliot Road in the Park Street area, you will find us at Sai Chinese. It is a very busy part of the city, and there is always something going on outside our door. Elliot Road has a lot of history and a lot of different people moving through it every hour. Our shop is pretty small, but we pack a lot into it. It is mostly about the kitchen here. We have the woks going and the smell of soy sauce and garlic in the air all the time. It gets pretty hot inside, especially when we are busy during the lunch and dinner rushes. We do not have a lot of space for people to lounge around, it is more about getting the food cooked and served. The walls are a bit stained from the steam and the oil, which is just what happens when you cook as much as we do. It is not a polished place, but it is honest. We are just a few staff members trying to keep up with the orders. Sometimes the traffic on Elliot Road makes it hard for deliveries to get through, but we make it work somehow. Park Street is just around the corner, so it is a very central place to be. We just keep the burners lit and keep the food moving for everyone who stops by.
