If you know where Mayur Cinema is on S. N. Road, then you’ve probably walked past us at 29b Rabindrasarani. We are right in that busy stretch where there's always something happening. This shop has been part of the neighborhood for a good while. We deal with glass in all its forms, mostly serving the people who live and work around here. The space is a bit cramped because glass takes up a lot of room when you store it properly. We try to keep things organized, but it’s a constant battle. It’s a loud area with the traffic and the cinema crowds, but we don’t mind. I usually open up early to beat the heat. Most of our days are spent cutting and measuring for whatever customers need. We don't use any fancy software for the business, just a notebook and some grit. People come in with all sorts of broken things or new ideas for their homes. We just do the work. The floor is always covered in a bit of dust, no matter how much we sweep. It’s just the nature of the glass business. My brother helps out on the weekends when it gets extra busy. We’ve stayed at this location because it’s central. People know they can find us here. We don't have a website or anything like that. We just open the shutters and start the day. There is no point in complicating things when a simple approach works. We keep our prices fair and our measurements as exact as we can.
