Working at Prem Laser & Cosmetic Surgery Clinic involves a lot of time in the Neelambar Building. We are located at Flat 4D, which is at 28B Shakespeare Sarani, right in the Theatre Rd Elgin area. The building has that old Kolkata feel to it, and the elevators can be a bit slow in the afternoons when everyone is leaving their offices. Inside our clinic, things are a lot more modern because of the lasers and the surgical equipment we have to maintain. It’s a funny contrast between the busy street outside and the quiet rooms in Flat 4D. We spend a lot of time making sure everything is sterile and ready for the next person. People come here for all sorts of things, from skin treatments to more involved surgeries. We try to keep the atmosphere calm because people are often a bit nervous when they come in. Shakespeare Sarani is always loud with traffic, so we have some thick curtains to keep the noise down. The staff spends a lot of time on their feet, running between the front desk and the treatment rooms. We aren't a huge operation, just a dedicated team trying to do our jobs well in this part of Elgin. Sometimes we grab tea from the stall downstairs when things quiet down. It’s just a regular day of helping people look how they want to look. We just stay focused on the work and the daily tasks.
