Dr. Hawelias Skin Clinic

If you’re looking for Dr. Hawelias Skin Clinic, we are on Chittaranjan Avenue at 245A. We’re on the 1st Floor, right near the Girish Park Metro Station. Being so close to the metro means there’s a constant stream of people outside and plenty of noise from the trains and the street vendors throughout the day. It’s a classic Kolkata building, so the ceilings are high and the staircase has that old-fashioned feel to it when you walk up. The clinic itself is laid out simply with a reception area and a few rooms for consultations and various treatments. We’ve got some wooden cabinets for all our supplies and a few chairs that have seen better days but are still comfortable enough for a short wait. We spend the day looking at different skin issues and talking to people about what’s going on. It’s not a spa; it’s a clinical space where we just focus on the work. The light from the street comes in through the tall windows, and you can always hear the horns honking down below on the avenue. We don’t have any fancy marketing materials or a polished lobby. It’s just a place where we do our jobs every day. Most of our patients come by because they work nearby or they’ve heard about us from someone else in the neighborhood. We just keep things running, answer the phone when it rings, and try to help the folks who walk in.
