Pralay Shankar Das

Pralay Shankar Das is located at the house of the late Ram Dhani Ram on R P Gupta Path. This is in Titagarh, which is part of the greater Kolkata area, specifically 700119. The house is an old one, full of history and memories. It has been passed down, and now we use a part of it for our daily operations. Titagarh is a busy place with a lot of industries and people moving around all the time. R P Gupta Path is a narrow road, but it’s where we feel at home. The walls of the office are thick, which helps keep it cool during the humid Kolkata summers. We have a lot of old books and files stacked up because we don't like throwing things away. It’s not the most modern setup you’ll ever see, but it works for us. We don't have a team of marketing people or a big board of directors. It’s just us, working on what needs to be done for the day. Sometimes we sit out on the porch during lunch to watch the world go by. People in Titagarh are hardworking, and we try to be the same. We don't make big promises, we just show up and do the work that is expected of us. It’s a very grounded way to live and work in this part of West Bengal.
