Our office is located at 50 Weston Street in Central Kolkata. We are in Kamal House, on the 1st floor in Room No 105. Bpd Consultants Pvt Ltd has been here for a bit. This part of the city is very old and the streets are always full of people and vendors. Kamal House is one of those classic old buildings with high ceilings and thick walls. Our room is not very big, so things can get a bit cluttered with all the files and books we keep around. It is a very central location, which makes it easy to get to by public transport, but it also means it is very noisy outside. We are used to the sounds of the city by now. Inside, it is a very basic setup. We have a few old desks and some filing cabinets. We do not have a fancy waiting room or a receptionist. If someone comes by, we just pull up a spare chair for them. We are not a flashy firm with big ideas about branding or image. We just focus on the consulting work we do every day. Most of us have been working together for a long time, so we have a good routine that works. It is a simple, no-nonsense office in a historic part of town.
