Peacock Media Ltd is tucked away at 658, Patuli Ghoshpara, which is in the south part of Kolkata. The area has changed a lot lately, but our spot is still pretty much the same. We do media work from here, mostly involving production and planning. It’s not a glamorous setup with red carpets; it’s mostly just us in front of screens or out in the field. The address is 700094 if you are trying to find us. We have a few rooms for editing and meeting up to discuss projects. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped when the whole team is in, but we make it work. Patuli is a nice place to be based because it’s not as congested as the city center, but it’s still got everything we need. We spend our days coordinating with different people and trying to get the footage or the designs finished. There is usually a lot of back and forth. We don't really do the corporate talk thing. We just focus on the creative side and making sure things look okay. Sometimes we stay until late at night to finish a project, and the local tea stall is the only thing open. It’s just how the media life goes for a small outfit like ours. We just try to keep things moving and get the edits done before the deadlines hit.
