It is an interesting spot because we do two things: catering and tourism. It might seem like an odd mix, but it keeps our lives interesting. We spend half our time planning meals and the other half helping people with their travel plans. Our office is simple and stays pretty busy throughout the week. Being near the rail line means there is always noise and movement around us, which we have gotten used to. We started this business because we wanted to work for ourselves. We do not have a big corporate structure or a bunch of managers. It's just a few of us here on Mahatma Gandhi Road making sure things run smoothly. Some days we are packing lunch boxes, and other days we are looking at train schedules. It is a very practical way to run a business. We do not use any slick marketing phrases. We just tell people where we are and what we can do. If you are near Natun Bazar, you have probably walked past our place without thinking much about it. That is fine with us. We are just here doing our daily work in Thakurpukur. It’s a busy life but it is ours.
