We have been running things at 104/A Karaya Road for quite a while now. Imtiaz Paints And Hardware is just a regular shop where we keep a lot of stock for people who need to fix their houses or do some repairs. You will see buckets of paint stacked up near the door and all kinds of tools hanging on the walls. It gets a bit crowded inside when the morning rush starts, but we usually know where everything is kept. The neighborhood knows us pretty well. Sometimes the floor gets a little dusty from the cement bags and plaster, but that is just how a hardware store is. We spend most of our day helping people figure out which screw fits or what shade of blue looks okay for a bedroom wall. It is not a fancy place with bright lights or anything like that. Just a solid counter and a lot of metal shelves. When the trucks come to drop off new inventory, things get a bit chaotic out on the street for a bit. We try to keep the brushes and rollers organized, but they always seem to end up in different bins. It is a lot of manual work, lifting heavy cans and moving boxes around. We do not have a big corporate office; it is just the shop floor and a small desk in the back where we keep the records. People stop by to chat as much as they do to buy stuff.
