We’ve been running things from 5B Stephen Court on Park Street for quite a few years now. Being right on Park Street means there is always something happening outside our window, mostly traffic and people rushing to work. We are in the business of crafts, but we don't really have a big showroom. It’s more of an office where we coordinate all our orders and talk to our suppliers. The space is a bit cramped because we have boxes and samples stacked up in the corners, but it works for us. Some of the floorboards creak when you walk on them, and the paint is peeling a little near the ceiling, but we don’t really mind. We’re a small group of people who have worked together for a long time, so we have our own way of doing things. We don't use fancy software; a lot of our notes are still kept in notebooks. Sometimes the tea man from downstairs forgets our order, but that’s just how it goes. We don't spend much time on the internet or trying to be famous. We just want to make sure the crafts we handle get to where they are supposed to go. It’s a busy life, but it’s what we know. If you ever come by Stephen Court, you’ll likely find us buried under some paperwork or arguing over a shipping schedule. It isn't perfect, but it's ours. We just take each day as it comes and get the job done.
