Niramoy Homeo Clinic

Niramoy Homeo Clinic is situated right on the Belgharia Expressway. It is a bit of an interesting spot because the cars are always zooming past at high speeds just outside our door. Sometimes the whole building feels like it vibrates when a big truck goes by. Our clinic is just a small place, really. We have shelves filled with those little white pills and clear liquids that people expect from a homeo clinic. It’s mostly just one or two of us here at a time. People stop in when they are traveling along the expressway or if they live in the nearby patches of houses. It can get quite dusty because of all the road work and the traffic, so I feel like I’m always dusting off the jars and the desk. It isn't a fancy medical center with lots of glass and chrome; it’s more of a practical, roadside spot. We have a couple of chairs for people to sit while they wait their turn. Sometimes it’s quiet for an hour, and then five people will show up all at once. We just take them one by one. It’s a simple life here, just talking to people about their symptoms and finding the right bottle on the shelf for them. We’ve been here for a bit now, and most of the locals know exactly where to find us when they need something for a cough or a stomach ache.
