New Alice

New Alice is located at 106/2, Jessore Road in the Motijhil area. It’s a busy stretch of road, especially with all the buses and trucks going by toward the airport. The shop isn't very large, and sometimes it gets a bit dusty with all the traffic outside. We’ve been here for quite some time, and the building shows its age a little. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations or bright lights. It’s a simple place where we sell what we have. Most of our customers are locals who live around Kamar Dha or work nearby. We know a lot of them by sight. Sometimes the rain floods the road a bit, and things slow down, but we stay open. We don't do any big advertising or try to look like a big chain. It’s just a regular local shop. We try to keep things organized, but on busy days, it can get a little messy behind the counter. That’s just life in a small business. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who have worked together for a long time. It’s a straightforward way to make a living. The tea stall next door is where we spend our breaks, just chatting and watching the world go by. It’s not a fast-paced environment, and we like it that way. We appreciate the people who stop by instead of going to the big malls. It keeps us going.
