Naushad Dental Clinic

Naushad Dental Clinic is tucked away on the first floor of 22/ B on Gobra Gorosthan Road. If you know this part of Kolkata, you know the streets are always full of life and people moving about near Govinda Khatick Road. To get to us, you have to walk up a narrow set of stairs that can be a bit steep if you aren’t used to them. We’ve been in this building for a long time, and the walls have that old city feel. Inside, it is much quieter than the street outside. We have a couple of dental chairs and a small desk where we keep the patient files in big folders. It gets humid in the summer, so the ceiling fans are always humming. We mostly see people from the neighborhood who have been coming to us for years. My nephew helps me with the cleaning and making sure the instruments are all set before we start the morning shift. Sometimes the traffic on the road makes it hard to hear, but we just get on with our work. We don't use a lot of big signs, just a small one outside so people know which door to knock on. It’s a modest place, but it works for us and the people who live around here. We usually close up once the sun goes down and the street lights come on.
