Mukherjee Decorator & Caterer. We are located at 99/51, Jessore Road, right near the Satgachi More. It is a very busy junction and there is always a lot of movement around here. Having both decorating and catering means we have a lot of stuff to keep track of. Our warehouse and office space at Satgachi More is usually filled with poles, cloths, and cooking pots. It can look a bit messy to an outsider, but we know where everything is. Jessore Road is a main artery of the city, so we are always hearing the buses and cars go by. We have been working from this spot for a long time. People in the area know the Mukherjee name. We don't really do any big promotions. Most of our work comes from people who have seen our tents or eaten our food at a local wedding. It is a lot of physical labor. We are often out late at night setting things up or early in the morning starting the fires for cooking. It is just what we do to get by. We don't have a fancy corporate structure. It is just us and our workers. We focus on getting the job finished on time. The area around Satgachi More is our home base and we like the bustle of it. It can be tiring, but it’s the life we chose and we are used to the long hours and the heat of the kitchen and the sun.
