Moustache Jeans Co

This is the spot for Moustache Jeans Co, tucked away on Biren Roy Road East in the Monmohan Park area. Kolkata 700008 is our home, and we have been around this neighborhood long enough that the local tea stall owners know us well. Working with denim is a bit of a dusty job, and there is always blue thread or bits of fabric on the floor by lunchtime. We spend the day cutting, sewing, and checking the fit of the jeans we make here. It isn't a glamorous office with glass walls or anything like that. It’s a working space where things get done. We have a small crew and we mostly just focus on the task at hand. Sometimes the power goes out or the delivery vans get stuck in the narrow road outside, but we just work around it. We aren't trying to be some huge corporate giant; we just want to make clothes that people can actually wear every day. The building is older, but it serves us well for what we need. You’ll usually find someone at the heavy sewing machines or packing up crates for the next shipment. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but there is a certain rhythm to it that feels right. We just show up every morning, open the gates, and get to work on the next batch of jeans. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until late.
