Moti Sil Street is always moving, and we are right in the middle of it at number 46. Dharmatala is a hectic place to be, but we’ve managed to stay put here for quite some time now. We are a mix of a chemist shop and a small clinic. Mostly, people stop by to pick up their regular medicines or to see if the doctor is in for a quick consultation. It’s a tight squeeze sometimes with all the boxes of medicine around, but we know where everything is kept. The street outside is noisy with all the shops and people, but once you step inside, it’s a bit quieter. We get a lot of commuters who work nearby or people just passing through the market area. We open early and stay until late because that’s when people need their prescriptions filled. It isn't a glossy medical center. It’s just a practical spot where you can get your blood pressure checked or buy your vitamins. We know our regulars by name and what they usually need. Sometimes we have to wait for deliveries to come through the heavy traffic, which can be a real headache. But that's just life in this part of town. We keep the shelves stocked as best as we can. It’s a lot of work keeping track of all the different brands, but it keeps us busy. We don’t do much fancy talking, we just hand over the medicine and help where we can.
