Mohta Udyog

Mohta Udyog is located at No. 32, Ezra Street. We are down in the basement market, specifically in Shop No. Bs- 4. It is a bit of a squeeze down there, as Ezra Street is one of the most crowded parts of the city. You have to navigate through the crowds and the narrow entrances to find the basement stairs. Once you’re down here, it’s a different world. It’s a bit cooler than the street above, but it’s always busy with people looking for specific items near the aisles. Our shop, Bs- 4, is small but we’ve managed to fit everything we need into the shelves and corners. There’s not much natural light, so we rely on our tube lights to keep things bright throughout the day. We’ve been part of this market for a long time and we know how the system works here. It’s a lot of face-to-face talk and quick exchanges with regulars. We don't have a big fancy sign or a glossy brochure. If you find us in the basement, you probably already know what you’re looking for. The air can get a bit stale if the fans aren't running, but that’s just life in a basement market like this. We just keep things moving, helping out the customers who come down the stairs and making sure our inventory is sorted. It is a tight space, but it is our space.
