Modern Dental Clinic

You have to go up to the first floor at 23 Marquis Street to find us. We are right near Jamuna Banquets, not far from Park Street. It’s a busy part of the city, and being on the first floor helps us get a little bit away from the noise of the street, though you can still hear the horns honking down below. Modern Dental Clinic has been in this spot for quite a while. The building has some character, which is a nice way of saying it’s a bit old. Our waiting room has a few mismatched chairs and a small table with some water. We try to keep things tidy, but with people coming in and out all day, it’s a constant task. The rooms where we work are tucked down a narrow hallway. We have the usual setup—chairs, lights, and those trays of instruments that we’re always sterilizing after every use. It’s a tight space, so we have to be organized. Most of our patients are people who work in the offices nearby or live in the apartment blocks around Park Street. We don't have any big corporate backing or anything like that. It’s just a small team of us doing the daily tasks. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up, so people have to take the stairs to the first floor. It’s just one of those things you deal with when you work in an older part of town.
