MINILEC (INDIA) PVT. LTD. is tucked away at 47-A, Balaram Bose, in the 1st Lane. We are on the ground floor, right in the heart of the Bhawanipore area. This is an old part of the city with a lot of character and narrow lanes. Our office feels like it has been here forever. It’s filled with electronic components, testing boards, and coils of wire. It’s not the most modern-looking place, but it is where all the actual work happens. The lighting is a bit dim in some corners, but we have plenty of lamps on our workbenches. We are a small group of people who just enjoy working on technical stuff. There isn't any corporate hierarchy here; we all just pitch in when there is a big order to get out. The neighborhood is always alive with the sounds of people talking and the occasional bell from a nearby temple. We don't bother with fancy signage or trying to look bigger than we are. People in the industry know us and know where to find us in Bhawanipore. Most of our day is spent at the bench or on the phone. We don't have a dedicated receptionist, so usually, whoever is free just goes to the door. It’s a very informal and relaxed way to run a business, but we make sure the quality of what we do is right. It’s just how things are done here in our little lane.
