Mers Events

Mers Events is based out of Dashadrone in the Majhipara area of Rajarhat Gopalpur. We are quite close to the Vaishno Devi Temple, which is how most folks end up finding our little office. Kolkata is a huge city, but this specific part feels a bit more like home to us. We handle events, which mostly means setting things up and making sure all the chairs and lights are in the right place. It is a lot of running around, to be very honest with you. We are not a huge corporation with people in fancy suits. It is just us and some local guys who help us out with the heavy stuff. Sometimes the planning part gets a little hectic, especially during the big festival seasons around here. We spend a lot of time on the phone or driving through the streets of Rajarhat. The temple nearby is always a good landmark for the delivery drivers. We have seen a lot of changes in the Gopalpur area over the many years we have been here. We started out small and stayed that way because it is just easier for us to manage. We do not have a glossy brochure to show people. Usually, someone just calls us up because they saw us working at a neighbor's house or a friend's wedding. We keep all our gear in a small warehouse nearby. It is dusty work, but it pays the bills. We just try to make sure things look okay for whatever party is happening.
