Our place is located at 83/B Vivekanand Road, up on the first floor. If you are walking along the road in Kolkata, you’ll see the entrance. It is an old building, but we’ve fixed up our section to work as a diagnostic center and polyclinic. There is always a lot of traffic outside, so it can be a bit noisy, but once you come upstairs, things settle down a bit. We have a few rooms where the doctors sit and where we do the testing. It isn't the most modern-looking place you’ve ever seen, but it works for what we need to do. We spend our days mostly looking at charts and helping patients get through their appointments. Sometimes the waiting room gets a little crowded, especially on Monday mornings, so we have to put out extra chairs. We try to keep the wait times down, though it doesn't always work out perfectly when things get busy. It is a busy part of the city, and we’ve been here long enough that most of the local shopkeepers know us. We are just a group of people doing our jobs, trying to make sure the lab results are accurate and the clinic stays running smoothly. There’s always some maintenance to do, like fixing a light or cleaning the floors after a rainy day. It’s just a normal clinic life for us here on Vivekanand Road.
