Maya Ayurved Bhavan

If you’re ever walking down A. P. C. Road in Shyambazar, you’ll find us at No. 226a. We are Maya Ayurved Bhavan. Shyambazar is such a lively part of the city, and being right on the main road means we see everything that goes on. Our shop is a bit of a local fixture. We aren't one of those new, trendy places. We’ve got our shelves packed with all the Ayurvedic items you’d expect. The floors are a bit worn from all the feet walking through over the years, and we like it that way. It shows we’ve been busy. Most of our day is spent talking to customers who have been coming to us for a long time. They know exactly where things are, but we’re always there to help if someone new wanders in. The traffic on A. P. C. Road can be something else, with all the horns and the buses, but inside the Bhavan, it feels a bit more grounded. We don’t go in for big marketing campaigns or anything like that. Our name is just on the sign, and that’s usually enough. We just focus on keeping the stock fresh and making sure we have the right powders and oils on hand. It’s a simple way to run things, but it’s worked for us. We aren't trying to change the world; we’re just running our shop in Shyambazar as best we can every day. It is a good place to be.
