Essence Exports

Our office is situated at 36-A on A.J.C. Bose Road. It’s a very busy part of the city, so there’s always the sound of horns and engines coming through the windows. Essence Exports has been here for a while, and we’ve become quite accustomed to the constant energy of the road. Inside, it’s a different story. We try to keep things as organized as possible, though the stacks of export documents sometimes have a mind of their own. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or sending emails to coordinate with various people. It’s a lot of back-and-forth work. The office itself is pretty basic, with some sturdy desks and a few chairs for when visitors stop by. We don't have a receptionist, so whoever is closest to the door usually answers it. The light in the hallway is a bit dim, and the flooring is starting to show its age in the corners. We don't mind much as long as the work gets done. Most days we are just focused on the logistics of moving goods. It can be stressful when there are delays at the port, but we just take it one step at a time. We usually eat our lunch at our desks while checking the news or looking over the latest schedules. It’s a straightforward, no-nonsense kind of place. That’s just life on A.J.C. Bose Road for us every day.
