Kusum Fashions Pvt. Ltd. is based at No. 180 on M. G. Road, right up on the third floor. Being on such a famous road means there is always something happening outside, but up here on the third floor, it feels a little bit removed from the sidewalk chaos. We have been in this spot for a while now. The office is basically just a few rooms filled with desks, samples, and a lot of paperwork that seems to pile up no matter how often we sort it. We don’t really go in for the polished corporate look. It’s more of a place where people are actually working, so you might see coffee mugs on the tables and piles of fabric samples waiting to be checked. The elevator is old and sometimes makes funny noises, so we usually just take the stairs if we aren't carrying anything heavy. M. G. Road is great for being in the middle of everything, even if the parking is a total nightmare for anyone coming to visit. We spend our days answering phones, checking on production, and making sure the logistics are moving. It’s a steady kind of life. We don’t have a big mission statement on the wall; we just try to get the work done right and get home on time. It is a simple operation run by people who know the garment trade inside out and just do their jobs.
