Lokenath Caterer & Travels is based at 25/1 A K Devi Rd. It is a bit of an unusual mix, handling food for parties and also helping people with their travel plans. But it works for us. Our office is a busy little place. On one desk, you might see menus for a wedding, and on the other, someone is looking at train or bus schedules. It keeps the day interesting, that is for sure. We started out small and just gradually added more to what we do based on what people asked for over time. The kitchen staff is usually busy in the back, while the front office handles the travel side of things. It is a local operation, and we have been part of the A K Devi Rd community for a long time. We do not use any corporate talk or have big mission statements. We just try to help people get where they need to go and eat well while they are celebrating something. Sometimes the logistics of both businesses at once can be a bit much, but we have a good team that has been with us for years. They know how we like things done. We do not spend much on advertising. Most of our work comes from people who have used us before or heard about us from a friend. It is a practical way to run a business.
