Lintas Media Group

Lintas Media Group operates from a flat on the third floor at 73, Canal Street in Sreebhumi. It’s a residential-style building, so it doesn’t feel like a cold, glass office. We are in Flat No. 3A. Getting up to the third floor every day keeps us moving. The neighborhood around Canal Street is always lively, with lots of people and traffic. Inside our space, it’s mostly just us and our equipment. We do media work, which sounds more exciting than it actually is on a Tuesday morning when you're just looking at spreadsheets or editing files. We don’t have a fancy reception area with a dedicated person sitting there. Usually, whoever is closest to the door just opens it. We keep our overheads low and our focus on the tasks at hand. It’s a bit cramped sometimes with all the stuff we have, but we make it work. We’ve got a small kitchen area where we make our own coffee and tea. It’s an unpretentious environment. We aren't trying to win any awards for office design. We just want a place where we can sit down and get through our list of things to do. If you walk in, you’ll see people in casual clothes just working away. It’s a local Kolkata office through and through, and we’re fine with that. We just do the work and then we go home like everyone else.
