Our office is tucked away in Khardah, over at Sanjib Smriti on 92/13 Bosepara. It is a bit of a walk from the station, but it is a nice enough route once you get used to the turns. Being outside the main hub of Kolkata means things are a little quieter here, which suits us just fine for the kind of work we do. We handle a lot of data and technical stuff on our computers, so having a spot where we can just focus without too much street noise is helpful. The building itself is called Sanjib Smriti, and most of the locals know it well enough. We have been here for a while and the staff mostly comes from the surrounding neighborhoods. Usually, the morning starts with everyone settling in and getting the systems running. We have our small kitchen area where we make tea and talk about whatever happened the night before. There is nothing very polished about our setup. We have desks that have seen better days and shelves full of old files and folders. Sometimes the internet acts up, which can be a real headache, but we manage to sort it out eventually. It is just a regular workplace where people show up, do their jobs, and head home to their families in the evening. We do not put on any shows here; it is just us working through our daily tasks in Khardah.
