Jhuma Painting

Jhuma Painting is tucked away on Panditia Road, right near Sarat Bose Road. It’s an area with a lot of character and old houses. Our shop isn't much to look at from the outside, just a place where we keep our ladders, paint cans, and drop cloths. You can usually smell the fresh paint and some mineral spirits if you stand near the door. We spend most of our days out at job sites, so the shop is mainly a home base for us to mix colors and clean our brushes. Being at 16D, we are close to the main road but it’s a bit quieter on our stretch. We don't have a glossy brochure or a big marketing budget. Most people find out about us from their neighbors or by seeing our guys working on a building nearby. Painting is messy work, and we aren't afraid to get our hands dirty. We deal with all kinds of walls—some that are crumbling and need a lot of scraping, and others that just need a fresh coat to look decent again. We don't make big promises about being the fastest, because a good paint job takes the time it takes. We just show up, do the scraping, the priming, and the final coats until the buckets are empty. It’s a practical business, and we’ve been doing it this way for a while now. We just like seeing the difference a bit of color makes to an old wall.
