We’re over at 74/3 G.T. Road in Baidyabati, right in the Rajarbagan area. Being on G.T. Road means there’s never a quiet moment with all the trucks and buses going by. We handle some of the regional stuff for the group here. Our office is a simple place in Surendrapally. It’s mostly stacks of papers, some old desks, and a lot of coffee cups. We’re just regular people doing the groundwork for the bigger organization. We don’t have a fancy studio or anything like that here. It’s more about the distribution and making sure things move along the line. Some of us have been working in this Hooghly branch for a long time. We know the local shops and the guys who deliver the mail. It’s a bit dusty because of the main road, but we keep the place going. We don't talk in marketing jargon. We just say what needs to be said and get back to the paperwork. On some days, we have to stay late to make sure everything is sorted for the next morning. It’s not a glamorous life, but it feels important to be part of the news cycle in our own small way. We just keep our heads down and do the work. The rain sometimes leaks through the front door, but we’ve got a bucket for that. It’s just how it is. We are here from morning until the last stack is moved.
