Imminent Career Solutions

Our office, Imminent Career Solutions, is situated on the 2nd floor of the Ballygunj AC Market in Gariahat. It is a well-known spot, so people usually don't have trouble finding us. Being on the second floor means it is a bit quieter than the ground floor where all the shops are. Career solutions are what we focus on, which basically means we spend our time looking at resumes and talking to people about jobs. It is a small office with a few desks and some chairs for interviews. Gariahat is always buzzing with people, and the AC market is a bit of a landmark. A lot of young people come in, looking for their first break. We also have older folks wanting a change. Piles of folders sit on our desks and the printer is usually running. Much of our time is spent on the phone, talking to different companies. It isn't a flashy job. Much of it is just matching what a company needs with what a person can do. Coffee helps us stay sharp through the afternoon. The market atmosphere is great because we can just step out and find anything we need. We aren't a big agency with hundreds of employees. We are just a small team trying to help people figure out their next step in their careers. Sometimes the elevator is slow, so we just take the stairs. It keeps us moving. The view of the street below is always busy with shoppers.
