Our office is located at 181/13 Raja Ram Mohan Roy Road, inside the Sheela Niketan building. We are up on the 1st floor, which is convenient because we do not have to rely on an elevator. This area of Kolkata is always moving, and Raja Ram Mohan Roy Road is a major artery, so there is never a dull moment outside our windows. Inside, we focus mostly on educational and technology services. It sounds complicated, but mostly it involves a lot of planning and looking at computers. The 1st floor space we have is decent, though we have filled it up with desks and storage cabinets over the years. We have a lot of books and manuals stacked up in the corners. The atmosphere here is quite studious, as you might expect given what we do. We have a small staff and we have all been together for a while, so we know each other's habits and how we like our tea. The building itself, Sheela Niketan, is a well-known landmark in the neighborhood, which makes it easy for people to find us. We do not have any big corporate slogans on the walls; instead, we have calendars and maps. It is a practical, working office where the focus is on getting the tasks finished and making sure the paperwork is in order. We take our work seriously, but we do it in a very low-key, everyday sort of way.
