Ctb is tucked away at 218/2 Amarpalli, very close to the Kalibari in Kolkata. This part of the city is always buzzing with energy and there is never a dull moment on the street. Since the temple is so close, finding the address is usually pretty easy for people. Our office isn't particularly big, but we’ve managed to fit all the essentials inside the space. The walls are plain and the ceiling fans have to work very hard during those long summer months. Because of the Kolkata humidity, we often leave the windows wide open to catch a breeze. Plenty of local people just stop by to ask us questions throughout the day. A pile of papers sits on the main desk and never seems to get any smaller, no matter how hard we work. We have been part of this West Bengal neighborhood for a long time now. Drinking strong tea is a big part of our day while we go through the logs. The setup is quite simple, with wooden desks and chairs that are definitely not new. We don't spend any time trying to make the place look like a fancy showroom. Our main goal is just to finish the work so we can head home. Even though the street noise is loud, you eventually stop noticing it. This is just how life goes in our corner of town.
