Ht Media Ltd.

Ht Media Ltd. is located right in Greenwood Park, over in Newtown. The specific spot is Flat No.4A1 in the Hig 1 section, Block 1. It’s one of those newer areas in Kolkata-156. Things are still developing around here. We spend our days inside this flat working on all sorts of media stuff. It is a bit of a commute for some of us, but the park area is fairly quiet compared to the city center. We’ve got a lot of desks squeezed into 4A1. It’s not like those big corporate glass buildings you see in the movies. It’s more of a lived-in space. We have stacks of files and coffee mugs everywhere. Sometimes the elevator in Block 1 takes forever, so we just take the stairs. Working in Newtown is different than being downtown. There is more space but fewer snack shops nearby. We mostly bring our lunch from home or order something quick. We’ve been at this address for a bit now. We do a lot of writing and editing. It keeps us busy from morning till evening. The light in the flat is actually pretty good in the afternoons. It’s just us doing our thing. No big speeches or fancy events. We just focus on the media projects we have on our plates. It’s a steady kind of life here in Greenwood Park.
