If you have ever been to the E Mall in Kolkata, you know how busy it gets around Chandni Chawk. We are located on the third floor, Shop Number 325, right in the thick of things. Home Computer Service Kolkata started because we saw how many people were struggling with their laptops and PCs and needed a place that wasn't too expensive or confusing. The mall is always loud, and there is a lot of energy on Chittaranjan Ave, especially when the rains start. Our shop isn't huge, but it is packed with tools, spare parts, and screens waiting to be fixed. Usually, there are three or four of us here, hunched over motherboards or trying to recover someone’s lost photos. It’s messy work sometimes. We get a lot of students and office workers coming in from the nearby buildings. Some days are just constant phone calls and people dropping off broken tablets. We try to keep a pot of tea going, but we often forget to drink it until it’s cold. Being on the third floor means we see a lot of people wandering through the mall looking for deals. We like the location because everything we need is right here in the market. If we need a specific part, someone can usually run downstairs and find it in ten minutes. It’s a hectic way to work, but it feels right for Kolkata. We just keep fixing whatever comes through the door.
