Herbals Medicine is located along the Barrackpore Link Road in the Devpukur area of Barasat. It’s a busy road with lots of trucks and cars going by all day long. Our place is easy to spot once you get into the Devpukur section. We’ve been dealing with herbal products here for quite a while now. The air inside the shop usually smells a bit like dried leaves and roots, which is a lot better than the exhaust fumes from the link road. We have shelves lined with various jars and packets. It’s a simple setup. We spend most of our time organizing the stock and talking to people who come in looking for specific items. We aren't doctors or anything, we just know our inventory really well. The back room is where we keep the bulk items, and it can get a bit disorganized during the busy season. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone to write fancy brochures for us. We just rely on the fact that we’ve been on Barrackpore Link Road for years and people know we’re here. It’s a steady way to spend the day. Sometimes the rain makes the road a bit messy, but we just keep the door open and keep working. That’s just life at Herbals Medicine. Most evenings we close up around seven once the traffic starts to thin out a little and the neighborhood gets quiet.
