Herbal Point

At 7 Watgung Street, we keep things pretty basic and honest. Khidirpur is a very busy area, and our shop, Herbal Point, sits right in the middle of all that noise. We have a lot of jars, drawers, and small packets everywhere you look. It always smells like dried leaves and roots in here. Some people like the scent when they walk in, while others find it a bit strong for their liking. We’ve been on Watgung Street for quite a while now. The shelves are made of old wood and they are a bit bowed under the weight of the stock. They hold everything we need to run the business. People come in looking for specific things for their health or just for home use. We aren't doctors or experts, we just sell the items people ask for based on what they want. Sometimes we have to spend a lot of time sorting through the back stock to find a particular herb that someone requested. It can be a bit dusty in the corners. Khidirpur is always moving outside, so there is a lot of traffic noise coming through the front door. We don't have air conditioning, just a ceiling fan that clicks rhythmically. It works well enough for us. We see the same faces every week, mostly neighbors. We don't do fancy packaging with logos. You just get what you need in a simple paper or plastic bag. That's the way it's been.
