We are located at 26 Adi Banstolla Lane. It’s a busy spot in the city. The name of the place is Hari Om Laxmi Narayan Jewellers Private Limited. We mostly operate from the ground floor, though the paperwork says floor 19 as well, which is just how the building is set up. Being on the ground floor means we see everyone passing by in the lane. It’s narrow and crowded like most of the old parts of town, but it has its own life. We open up every morning and start the day. There is always a bit of dust to wipe off and things to organize. It’s not a big corporate showroom with lights and music. It’s more of a practical place where we sit and handle the jewellery work. Some of us have been here for years, so we know the neighbors well. You hear the tea seller and the horns honking all day long. The building is old, and you can feel that history when you walk in. We don't spend much time on decorations. Most of the space is taken up by desks and the things we need for the business. It’s just a regular day-to-day operation for us. We drink a lot of tea and talk about what needs to get done before the sun goes down.
